I meant to update my journal at beginning of New Year but sadly that didn't happen since that meant end of my holiday in San-Fran and rushing back to London! (going right back to office after long oversea holiday is a rather miserable experience I tell you!)

So anyway, I hope you all had lovely New Year with your family and friends!
My humble objectives for this year is....

Practice digital art; I've installed SAI software for trial. My aim is to improve my CG colouring skill and try to polish my drawing in general...plus finish the painting!

Calender Project; I've opened a new D/A account to upload my new works. My aim is to draw one original picture for every month, to be completed as Calender for next year. Each month, I'll take inspirations from Flower and Gem Stones of Month, featuring beautiful boys and girls of every age.


Study!; I never liked studying as a student and avoided with all cost if I could help it but now I feel differently...I feel I'm limiting my self because of my ignorance and lack of knowledge...someone said any knowledge is worth having and it's very true. I'm willing to learn something new everyday.. Starting with reading more books (that's not always fiction!) and keep my eyes open to general news...what's going on in the world. Maybe learn more thing or two about world geography (as I'm terrible with name of countries and cities...) and other cultures

Stop procrastinating all the times; I have so many ideas yet my laziness tend to get in my way of being creative and doing things I really want to do.

Give my body some work out.; Never thought I say this as exercise don't exist in my dictionary...!! (aside form walking 5min from station to office building and using stairs once in awhile lol!) I won't be going hard core like jogging or signing up for gym...just do something to flex my muscles and body as I'm unbelievably stiff. I'm thinking maybe yoga classes but maybe stretching exercise at home might be good too.


Well, as I mentioned in my objectives above, I've made a new account. I've been thinking about this for a long time actually...This current account feature mostly my old works, the stuff I've done when I was really into VC fandom around 10years ago. The name Endymia was my old handle name when me and my friend first started to exhibit our drawings and short fan-fics on our web site (and syzygy was our unit name).  When I first joined D/A, I had no idea where to start. It's been so long since I drew picture for myself, that I didn't know what I wanted to draw. I've been doing fan arts for so long and once I fall out of that fandom I didn't know what else to draw and couldn't find any other fictions (book, film and comic) I could really be passionate about.

Although after few years of going back to  touching up my old pictures and completing unfinished projects here and there, I was slowly getting closer to find what I wanted to do. Being in middle of so many wonderful art work of others really helped me have my inspiration back too...instead of doing random doodles, now I want to improve my skills and challenge myself

So this account will slowly go inactive, (Don't worry, I won't be moving any of my pictures here to my new account and won't delete them either)...I'll probably have few more updates here (anything related to my old work or contest) but that'll be it. All my new work will be posted to my new account . I know many of my watchers are VC fans so this might comes as a sad news, but if you are still interested to see my new work and art progress please add my new account to your watch. I'll be adding all my friends I made through this account to my new account as well.
