So, this was the three pages comic I been working on before the holiday...until I decided to work on other 10p comic instead at very last minute lol
I wanted to try this little trick I found, how you can turn pencil line into ink like comic line using PS! -> Tutorial by [link]
I've decided to use my friend Artemisia's very first comic for this experiment, using her original layout and picture design as much as possible and re-drew entire thing. (Her original is quite different from this with paint and collage , done many years back when we were still in high school and just got into VC fandom. She knew my favourite couple was Armand and Daniel so made this story for me It's one of my favourite ever since, it's a beautiful short fan fic!)
The fan fic follow the little episode from The Queen of the Damned's novel. (If you are Anne Rice fan you should know this! lol)
I hope you enjoy this little comic as much as I did
Credits Illustration/editing by me Story/comic layout by Artemesia Characters Armand and Daniel from Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice
*The book Daniel is reading is an actual novel. Knowledge of Angels is a brilliant book written by Jill Paton Walsh -> [link]
why do i get the feeling theses guys could get coffee and proclaim the waitor to be their true love because he winked at a girl behind them? i mean does becoming a vampire make you lose self restraint or do they just not care?
Yea totally! XD He only gets away with this behaviour since he has a look of gorgeous young guy and all but if he had the appearance of some creepy old man...I'm sure Daniel won't be very amused...lol
Ha ha, when I first read this I was bit like that! lol (especially the bit where Armand go on talking about Angel etc. )Basically, when you are a reader you are mirroring characters feeling and perspective, there's no concept of time etc. which is sort of similar to the perception of Angel...the world is a book to them, and Armand is saying that is how immortality is achieved and that's how it is like being a vampire. To him, human life is like reading a book...he can read people's thought and everything is transparent...so close yet only there as an observer and never be part of the world.
I always loved Armand and Danny!
